Worcester, MA- After claiming their second straight MASCAC Championship just a week ago, the Worcester Women’s Lacrosse team (14-5, 7-0) was back in the NCAA First Round with a trip to The College of New Jersey to face Messiah College.
Westfield, Mass. — Bridgewater State midfielder Meredith Sylvia and Worcester State midfielder Mckayla Fisher are the 2026 MASCAC Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year and headline the All-Conference teams which are voted on by the coaches from around the league.
Worcester, MA- After claiming their second MASCAC Championship in a row, the Worcester State Lancers had two selected as MASCAC Players of the Week. Senior Mckayla Fisher (Peabody, MA), offensive player of the week, and junior Madigan Kelley (Bourne, MA) defensive player of the week, were tabbed with the honor.
Worcester, MA- Worcester State hosted the MASCAC Championship on Saturday as the top seed in the 2026 MASCAC tournament. The Lancers were undefeated through conference after defeating Framingham State on Thursday night. Westfield State entered the game after a close final minute victory over Bridgewater State on Thursday, with just a single loss courtesy of the Lancers back on April 21st.
Worcester, MA- In a rematch of last year's 2025 MASCAC Championship game, the #1 seed Worcester State Lancers hosted the #4 seed Framingham State Rams on Coughlin Field. Last season's championship ended with Worcester claiming their first MASCAC Championship, defeating the Rams 13-11. Framingham and Worcester met earlier this season on Coughlin field, where Worcester managed to claim a 14-10 victory. Framingham entered the game with a victory over Fitchburg State, 18-3, this past Tuesday in the MASCAC quarterfinals.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women's lacrosse team not only claimed the regular season championship this past week but also had standout performances in their 2-0 week to sweep the MASCAC weekly awards. Senior Mckayla Fisher (Peabody, MA) would claim her fourth Defensive Player of the Week, while senior Shannon Donahue (Dennis, MA) was named the Offensive Player of the Week. For the second time this season first year Fallon Lozano (Upton, MA) was tabbed the Rookie of the Week.
Worcester, MA- In the final game of the regular season the Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse team (11-5, 6-0) hosted the Salem State Vikings in their Morgan’s Message game. Morgan’s SMessage was created in remembrance of Morgan Rodgers, a former Duke University Lacrosse student-athlete who died tragically in July 2019 after battling mental health struggles. Although Morgan’s life was cut way too short, her legacy of unconditional love remains. Morgan’s Message was created by her family and former teammates with the mission to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health, normalize the conversations about mental health, and ensure that mental health is treated equally to physical health for all student-athletes. Worcester, MA- After remaining undefeated in conference action on the week the Lancers senior Mckayla Fisher (Peabody, MA) was named the MASCAC Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season.
Worcester, MA- In their last conference regular season road trip of the season the Worcester State Women’s lacrosse team (10-5, 5-0) made a trip to Westfield State in a battle for the top seed in the conference.
Worcester, MA- After taking down the Rams on Wednesday night, the Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse team (9-5, 4-0) journeyed to Mass. Maritime to take on the Buccaneers in a road conference trip that could help the Lancers solidify a top two finish in conference.
Worcester, MA- After facing off versus Anna Maria last Saturday in their senior game the Lancers Women’s Lacrosse team 8-5, 3-0) was on the hunt to stay undefeated in conference as they matched up with the Framingham Rams in an Ovarian Cancer Awareness Game tribute game with the Rams.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse team (7-5, 2-0) was back in conference action in the Saturday morning meeting with the Anna Maria AMCATs. The morning's action was also in honor of the 2026 senior class of Amanda Palmisano (Woburn, MA), McKayla Fisher (Peabody, MA), Shannon Donahue (Dennis, MA), Alli Guay (Westfield, MA), and Molly Witkowski (Greenville, NY).
Worcester, MA- After a thrilling overtime win in conference this past Saturday, the Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse team (7-4, 2-0) moved out of conference for their One Love Game meeting with Western Connecticut. The One Love Foundation is a national non-profit with the goal of ending relationship abuse. We empower young people with tools and resources to see the signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships and bring life-saving prevention education to their communities.
Worcester, MA- After a 2-0 week for the Worcester State Women's Lacrosse team that found tem remaining undefeated in conference play, senior Molly Witkowski (Greenville, NY) was named the Offensive Player of the Week for the conference.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse team (6-4, 1-0) returned to conference action this afternoon in a crucial meeting with the Bridgewater State Bears in their second MASCAC meeting of the young season.
Worcester, MA- After a defining conference opening win last Saturday, the Worcester State Women’s lacrosse team (5-4, 1-0) stepped back out of conference this evening as they hosted the Keene State Owls for the Pituitary Awareness Game.
